e-credit control sits outside your ERP or Accounts system, receiving data from it, and if required, sending data back. This means it is very quick to implement and has very little impact on the resources of your IT team. As a web based system there is no additional hardware required. Only a PC with internet access is needed, so even mobile and home workers can operate efficiently and securely.
Each credit controller has a group of accounts allocated to them, however they can still access other accounts if the need arises, such as when dealing with an incoming call.
The system guides them through their daily activity, starting with automated dunning letters (email, fax or post) and actions required on current disputes, before displaying the calls scheduled for the day. Top of the call priority list are those accounts whose promises to pay haven't materialised. As each call is made the result of the call is noted and the next action scheduled. Failed calls are also recorded for performance analysis.
