The Institute of Rating, Revenues and Valuation has announced that this years Annual Conference and Exhibition will now be held at the Telford International Centre from the 21st to 23rd September 2011. The occasion is a key event in the local authority calendar and current financial constraints in the public sector are bound to place an additional emphasis on cutting costs and debt recovery. The electronic delivery of council tax and other bills has been tried only tentatively across the sector to date and DI has already had detailed discussions with a number of councils.
